There are so many reasons to go to Spoleto. Spoleto is a gem of Umbria region, yes you will find the best kind of truffles and great wine, i like the red umbria wine, smooth, light and delicious. So are the “strangozzi” a great type of pasta similar to fettuccine but larger, and “crescionda” light and spongy like layer sweet with light sugar.

Spoleto is a city of culture, almost everyday you can find a show, a theatre play, ballet, opera or piano recitals. Art is almost everywhere every angle you turn there is a fantastic picture or sculpture or a museum showing incredible pieces of art.

The Duomo of Spoleto is a must see place, nearby there is Palazzo Bufalini, at the moment hosting WarholvsGartel hyp-pop exhibition. A great duet between two pioneers of pop art and digital art, Andy Warhol and Laurence Gartel.

Palazzo Collicola is a baroque period example also presenting contemporary art.

You can reach Spoleto by train from the main cities of Italy. Spoleto is a very well organized city. And Spoleto has a great mobility system it makes it so easy to wander around without cars and there is a huge parking lot if you travel by car and it is affordable. You can practically go to wherever you want to go in very little time on tapis roulants without paying. What is priceless is you can breath just oxygen because there is no cars driving around the city. Let’s go to Spoleto!

Spoleto Umbriya Bölgesi’nin elmaslarından biri, bu küçük ama güzeller güzeli şehirde sanat ve kültür adına aradığınız herşey var. Yılın hergünü baleden, satranca, tiyatro, piyano, dans gösterilerine kadar muhteşem festivaller var.

Enogastronomi hayranı turistler icin Spoleto mutfağı çok güzel sürprizler barındırıyor. Strangozzi isimli makarna ve Creşonda (crescionda) tatlısı denemeye değer. Umbriya şarapları hafif ve çok lezzetli, yemek sonrası akşam sohbetleri icin de çok ideal bir seçim.

Spoleto’nun her kosesi bir sanat eseri ile dolu. Spoleto Katedrali’ni mutlaka görmelisiniz. Katedralin olduğu meydanda Bufalini Sarayı’nda 4 hazirana kadar WarholvsGartel isimli popart sergisi var. Collicola Sarayı ise hem barındırdığı barok eserler hem de cağdaş sanat eserleri ile başka bir sanat cevheri.

Spoleto’da arabaya ihtiyacınız yok. Araba olmadan şehirde yapılmış yürüyen bantlar ile bir yerden başka bir yere gitmek çok kolay. Ulaşım bedava ve hızlı ve egsoz dumanı yok. Bu sanat ve kültür  şehri temiz havası ile çok ama çok hoşunuza gidecek.
