If you are in Florence or coming to Florence till April 17th i have a suggestion to make to art lovers, please go see  the exhibition named “G7 d’Arte Contemporanea” in the Basilica of Santa Croce. The exhibition derives from an idea of Marco Ferri, the curator is Melanie Zefferino. The exhibition is composed of the pieces of seven artists from seven countries, each of them is a unique artist in their own way, and the artworks are definitely worth seeing in the wonderful contest of Santa Croce. What is more, it is a free exhibition, it is wonderful when you can see great works of art that are priceless without paying a price. The atmosphere is magical thanks to the magic the artists put in their creation process. The english Louise Giblin says she still feels european in spite of the fact that England is no longer part of the European Union. The photos of the french artist Jean-Pierre Rousset are great works of art with incredible meaning, in the era of selfies and quick photos they show the beauty in the eye of the artist because of their uniqueness. The german artist Eva Moosbrugger says she doesn’t feel only german but european, because she is working in Germany, Italy and Austria. Eva Mooseburger is the winner of the German Design Award of 2017. The japanese artist Yasumichi Nakagawa is participating with textile works, and representing the US there is a great name Romolo Del Deo with sculptures in bronze. The canadian sculpture Gary Barnhart said he used Carrara marble for his work, and Italy is always inspiring him. “Annunciation” of Pasquale Celona is also a great example of contemporary art that was inspired by traditional art.

This G7 Contemporary Art Exhibition is a great one, i fell in love with the wonderful works of art as soon as i saw them. I am so proud to live in Florence, a city that never lost her Renaissance spirit as the mayor Nardella always says so. Florence is always ready to host the artists and art because only by art we will be able to feel united, art makes nations become one as humanity. Only by art we can lose the borders because the human spirit and it’s force has no borders neither boundaries. Only by art we can feel one and come close to our origins. Go see “G 7 d’Arte Contemporanea”, you’ll love it!

Sanatseverlere duyurulur.
